Leash-Free Parks or Doggie Friendly Dining?
Hi,
I'm coming to town with my two whippets for the dog show this weekend and I was wondering if there are any leash free areas to take my dogs to run. I'm also looking for restaurants with doggy friendly outdoor patio dining. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Debbey

Bob's Old Homestead: 282 Pegasus Avenue
Hello,
I am trying to find out my old home in Lompoc, 282 Pegasus Ave. My father, Mother ,Sister & me lived there until about 1971 ( I think !!! ) My father actualy worked at Vandenberg Air Force Base & also owned a Classic car restoration shop in Lompoc, He actualy had a few Packards that he restored & was actualy in the Packards Owners Club & we still have some 1st, 2nd & third place trophys he won in shows ! I will try & add a picture if I can ! Anyway, we left Lompoc & moved out to Saudi Arabia where my dad was working for Northrop Aircraft Industries, It was a hot & strange place ! My Mother, sister & I only stayed out there with my dad for about three years, my dad was staying out there and came back home to England wher we are living now, he was almost do for his re-tirement but unfortunately died !

My mum & dad both met in Surry, a lovely place here in England, My Dad was working for Hawker Siddeleys Aircraft, (the makers of the Spitfire, Hurican, Hawker Hart e.t.c in Surry) My father was working with Neval Duke, the one who flew the first Jet Aircraft & broke the sound barrier, & my mum was his secretary ! To cut a long story short, it's all very true and so long will leve the rest for another day ! ( if you want to be bored !!!) but just want to say hello to you all in Lompoc, & say you are so very lucky yo be there ! We are living in an old thatched house, called Bakers Farmhouse ase it used to be the village Bakery with two huge great ingelnook, ( if thats how you spell it !) fireplaces that they used to do the baking ! there is also suposed to be a tunnel going from our house to Coldham Hall, a huge great mansian where the Gunpowder plot was made, the reasonn for guyfolks night, with all the bon-fires ! Now Coldham Hall is owend by Claudia Schiffer, the model & owns so many houses all over the world !

Anyway, I am in desperate need of another coffee ! so again, look forward to coming over to Lompoc one day when I can aford it, as I am still unemployed after a very very bad car accident that nearly killed me ! & i am still without a job, so say some prayers for me please ase I have been saying them for a long time !
My fathers name is: Charels Robert Edward Atkinson, my mothers is: Betty Collen Atkinson , my sisters: Sally Ann Atkinson & my name, Robert Edward Atkinson, Hope you will keep in touch with me through e- mails & someone can tell me about my old home 282 Pegasus Ave!
All the very best, Bob Atkinson & family.

Repy to Doug Rose.
Hi Doug,
I was doing an internet search of blind/low vision services and came across your request to Lompoc Online. I thought you might be interested in a new Optical Character Reader/Scanner I am representing in California (I have attached a brief info brochure). Even if its just an FYI for you or your friend, I thought it might be something to add to the reply you received in the way of new technology developments. Let me know if you have any interest.

Best Regards,
