Letters to the Editor

September 11th Tribute

Because the anniversary of September 11 is near, I wanted to submit a picture I had taken while in New York City's Ground Zero. The picture is of the Lompoc Valley Flower Flag. My family and I participated in a lower Manhattan Walking tour during the week of August 12th. As a gesture from the Lompoc community, I wanted to hang up our flower flag in support of the tragedy.

The other picture (below) shows St Paul's Church where the memorials are hung. Our flag was placed directly in the middle of it all.
